Carman Dragone

Founder & President of Musical Arts Conference 

Carman Dragone has built a legacy working with marching bands, color guards, and percussion units. He is the Founder of Musical Arts Conference, a nonprofit, organizing body for high schools in the local area.

Formerly, Carman served as the Director of the Trumbull High School marching band for 27 years, winning several titles, and leading the band to march in two Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parades and 2 Presidential Inaugural Parades. He also started, a website and organization serving as a resource for Trumbull High School alumni. For his work, Carman has been honored on multiple occasions by the Trumbull Board of Education for his service to the town.

Carman Dragone is a graduate of Northwood University where he studied Economics. He graduated form Trumbull High School in 1989, where he was actively involved on the tennis team, marching band, and concert band. A proud THS alum, Dragone greatly appreciates the opportunity to empower both current and former students of the school.

As the creator of, Carman knows a thing or two about the obstacles that lie in wait when branching out to blaze your own trail. The THSGEMB Alumni Association offers Trumbull High School alum the opportunity to reconnect, network and collaborate with their former classmates.  Moving forward, Dragone hopes to utilize the space in a way that positively impacts past, present and future alumni of THS.
